There are many different ways to support the Youth Department and our community's children. Below are some suggestions. If you would like to get involved in a different way, please contact the Youth Department at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
Serve of the Youth Committee The Youth Department is looking for a few good people who share the dream of a vibrant, exciting community for our children and teens.
Shabbat Morning Greeter Transitions are always easier when a smiling face is the first thing you see! The Youth Department is seeking volunteers to greet children in the lobby as they arrive and invite them to head to the Youth Department minyanim. Greeters also remind wandering children to head back to groups or return to their parents in the sanctuary.
Help Chaperone Programs Programs for younger groups that take place on a day other than Shabbat sometimes require an extra set of hands. If we can 'borrow your hands,' then let us know!
Snack/Kiddush Committee Help buy Shabbat snacks and set up when there is a sponsored Kiddie Kiddush.
Make Phone Calls There are many times throughout our year when the Youth Department will make calls to parents. What an easy way to help!
Share a Skill If you have a special talent (cook, play guitar, crafting, etc.) or are able to learn with our teens or younger children, we would love to create a program around your skills.
Sponsor a Kiddie Kiddush What better way to celebrate your child's birthday, graduation or other exciting accomplishment than by sponsoring a Kiddush for our youth/teen minyanim? There are several exciting options. Click here to download a form.
Become a CIT The Youth Department is accepting a limited number of CITs to become a part of our Shabbat staff. CITs must be in 7th or 8th grade. If you have an interested child, please contact Melissa Rosen at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
Donate Items on our Wish List There are several items that would enhance the Youth Department program. Many are very inexpensive. Some you already have in your home. If you can help with any of the following items, please let us know.
